Where have I been and what's going on?


I'm choosing to create a postmortem for one reason: A lot of these games are basically cancelled or shelved.

Why shelve them?

Long story short, I have too many ideas that just don't have the right execution.

COOLR? Turns out that making a difficult game isn't fun and overall this game lacked story.

House Rumble? Lucas Grant? OCPRP? Just fun little ideas with no real execution.

Clockwork Smith? Doomed from the start.

A bunch of other games I haven't listed are being cancelled as well for various reasons.

So where does that leave them?

Nowhere. They're staying as archival material. I don't plan on delisting them.

So what's the plan for the future?

I have two games in progress that will be the start of my REAL work as an Indie dev.

The Eighth Sin and Hallow.

The Eighth Sin is a Metroidvania Roguelike Juggle Platformer. I'll explain that further in a different post. I'm working on it with a group of friends, and I'm actually looking for more volunteers for it.

Hallow? That's it's own story. I already have a project page for it on my profile.
